This is the second year of the Scheels Iowa City Duathlon! Come RUN-BIKE-RUN at Iowa City's Terry Trueblood Recreation Area on June 8th and experience the longer distance family member of the Scheels Duathlon Series!
The Course
The second of the three races in the Scheels Duathlon Series with the longest bike ride. The entire race is centered around the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area in Iowa City starting with a 2 mile run on the paths around Sand Lake. After coming back into transition, you'll head south on Gilbert St/Sand Rd for 5 miles, turn around and race back to McCollister Dr, then turn around again, and do it all over again! ITU-style. The second run will be a repeat of the first. You'll know the course so well, we bet you'll go even faster!

Saturday 6/7 from Noon - 5 PM at Scheels in Coral Ridge Mall
Sunday 6/8 (race day) from 6:30 AM - 7:30 AM at the race site (Terry Trueblood Recreation Area)
